Re-mind Coaching

Content and Branding Support for a New Business Venture

When coaching and business mentoring start-up Re-mind approached us for help with the content for their new website, we recognised an opportunity to help a passionate entrepreneur boost her online presence and develop her brand.

Who is the client?

Amy Benton is a business/life Coach and motivation expert based in South Suffolk. She specialises in helping businesses boost workforce performance and retention, as well as working with business leaders, entrepreneurs, elite sports professionals and highly driven individuals from all walks of life to help them unlock the very best of themselves.

Amy is a certified master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy (TLT) and Motivational Maps, an ISO accredited coaching tool that aims to give people clarity about their ambitions and goals, and what motivates them to achieve them.

“Having had a good grounding in business from an early career in corporate banking and many years working in business development, I have always believed that collaborative working and personal development are the keys to success,” explains Amy.

After developing her skills as a coach in a variety of in-house roles over a 12-year period, Amy decided to launch her own business venture. Re-mind Coaching Solutions was founded in 2021 with the goal of using personal and team motivation to empower businesses and individuals to achieve success.

What services did we provide?

During the process of setting up her new business, Amy started building Re-mind a website using the cloud-based web development platform Wix. Doing all the initial design work herself, it got to the stage where the website was taking up a lot of Amy’s time – and by this point, Re-mind was up and running as a business and Amy had clients to focus on. As much as she knew she needed a website, Amy also recognised that her time was better spent focusing on the core business. Amy started to look around for professional web development support. She wanted someone who could help populate the site’s content, but also give the branding and design a professional gloss that would make the Re-mind site stand out to prospective clients. In the end, Amy got in touch with Key Element on the back of a recommendation from a mutual contact at a local accountancy firm.

What was the challenge?

When we first discussed the project, Amy explained she wanted a site that would really help her grow her online presence and become a focal point for attracting new clients. What was refreshing was that Amy already had a strong vision for the site - she had just got to the stage where she needed some assistance bringing it to life. As she herself explains: “I was looking for an affordable website that encompassed who I am as much as what I do and the way I do it.” We knew from the start that personality was a big priority for Amy. So it wasn’t just a case of taking the framework Amy had already created on Wix and finishing it off. We also looked at the creative side of things and how we could help Amy develop a brand identity that captured the vision she had for Re-mind.

How did we approach it?

“James and Rob were fantastic,” added Amy. “I had an initial chat with James about my brief and the look I wanted, which took about 30 minutes. I showed him what I had designed so far and sent him some photographs. He just got me and what I was looking for straight away.” Content management is a corner pin service of ours. We even offer our own custom-built in-house content management system (CMS), Lucid. So once we had Amy’s brief and had dug into what she was looking for and what she wanted to achieve, we pressed ahead with creating new content and new pages within her existing site. At the same time, we also worked on the overall design and style of the site to create a uniform corporate identity. The new branding is not just for the website, but can be used going forward across print-based media, social marketing and online advertising etc. One immediate example was an exhibition flyer we designed for Amy to hand out at upcoming events.

How did we go above and beyond?

In addition to this, we undertook some light development work to create new features for the site above and beyond the Wix platform’s standard capabilities. For example, we built an expandable accordion module for the display of results from online quizzes and assessments Amy wanted to offer. This makes everything onscreen tidier and more user-friendly, improving the overall user experience. We built versions of this module for desktop and mobile. We also recommended a content writing service to Amy – 444 Media – who assisted with all written copy for the site, helping to ensure all content was engaging and clear, as well as supporting search optimisation.

What was the end result?

The end result of the content, branding, design and development work we put into this project is a professional-quality website on a platform that makes on-going management easy for Amy to handle herself. By pushing beyond the platform’s native capabilities, the Re-mind site now boasts bespoke features that add value to the business directly.

Amy’s business now has a strong online presence with an informative, attractive site that she can direct prospective clients to via social media, or which people can find themselves organically via search engines.

Commenting on the project, Amy said: “I am over the moon with my website. I’d rate Key Element 10 out of 10, the collaborative style of how they work, their listening skills and openness to work to my brief were fantastic. I have already recommended them to other businesses.”

Were there any measurable outcomes?

It’s still early days but I’ve had great feedback about the website so far and it’s great to be able to send potential clients to my site to use the resources there.
