ET2C is a sourcing solutions specialist that connects retailers around the globe with manufacturers in Asia.
Originally launched as an online business, ET2C soon developed a more holistic service-oriented model and began to open offices across multiple countries. However, online remains an important touch point for its international client base.
To support continued growth of the global business, ET2C wanted to refresh its existing website, as well as localise its digital offerings in new client markets. An overarching goal was to drive more traffic through its website in all markets to support business development.
Although the original brief for the project was simply to freshen up the existing website, once we looked in detail at what was required versus ET2C’s objectives, our opinion was that a further reaching redesign would serve the company better. This was agreed in full consultation with the client, and our aim was to give the site a slick, contemporary, user-friendly look and feel that would improve the on-page experience.
We also set out to boost the site’s search rankings for greater visibility and carried out in-depth SEO research before integrating the results into the new design and content strategy.
With a view to localising the site content across different international markets, our web development team built brand new country-specific landing pages, so visitors got straight to the information that was most relevant to them. We included conversion tracking analytics for these pages and were able to provide detailed performance reports to demonstrate their value.
While the project stopped short of a full site rebuild, our development team made considerable positive changes to the design and performance of the existing platform, including fixing a number of bugs & pre-existing issues.
